Ching-Lynn Chen, M.D. FACOG is a founding member of OBGYN Westside. Dr. Chen completed her undergraduate education at Stanford University, and is a graduate of the SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. Dr. Chen is currently a Clinical Instructor at the Mount Sinai Medical Center where she remains active in resident education. She has been in practice at OBGYN Westside since 2000.
Michelle D. Morgan, M.D. FACOG is a founding member of OBGYN Westside. Dr. Morgan attended Lehigh University for her undergraduate studies in civil engineering, and then SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she is an Assistant Professor and remains active in medical education. She has been in practice at OBGYN Westside since 2001. She is focused on individualized care for a wide variety of clinical issues.
Anna Barbieri MD FACOG completed her undergraduate studies at Colgate University. She obtained her medical degree from SUNY Syracuse and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor. Additionally trained in integrative medicine, Dr Barbieri provides individual whole person care ranging from evidence based lifestyle and integrative approaches through medications and surgery when needed. In addition to preventive care and wellness, Dr. Barbieri's specific professional interests include menstrual and hormonal problems and perimenopausal and menopausal transition.
Alicia C. Saunders, MD joined OBGYN Westside in February 2015. She completed her residency at Mt Sinai Roosevelt and Mt Sinai St Luke's Hospitals.She received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Saunders has been seeing patients in the Mount Sinai office at Brooklyn Heights and has a fascinating background, including nutritional counseling.
Dr. Averbuch graduated with Honors from Temple University in Philadelphia and received her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital / Northwell Health. During her training, Dr. Averbuch was recognized for her superb clinical and surgical skills, as well as for her dedication to medical student education.
Dr. Kahan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and received her medical degree from the State University of New York - Upstate Medical University College of Medicine in Syracuse. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia where she was the recipient of a minimally invasive surgery award. Since her training, Dr. Kahan cared for women as a full-time board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist in New Jersey, Her interests outside the field of ob/gyn include yoga, travel, physical fitness, and exploring New York City.
