Prenatal care

A common prenatal schedule looks something like this:
- Monthly visits for weeks 8 through 32
- Twice-monthly visits during weeks 32 through 36
- Weekly after week 36 until birth
This schedule may be different for high risk pregnancies, depending upon each patient’s unique needs.

Does pregnancy care include delivery?
OBGYN Westside provides complete obstetric care, including delivery and postpartum care.
The team believes that vaginal birth is usually the best option and, as a result, OBGYN Westside has a low cesarean section rate. The team also understands that vaginal birth is not always possible or the best option for everyone and is experienced in both planned and unplanned cesarean delivery as well.
